Flyfishing Montana's Smith, Missouri and Blackfoot Rivers
Lewis and Clark Expeditions in Helena, Montana offers trout fishing
adventures on the Smith River,
the Missouri River and the Blackfoot River. The Smith
River means five days of floating, camping and fly fishing on Montana's
most exclusive and awe-inspiring stream. The Missouri River allures
fly fishermen with promises of prolific hatches providing dry fly
fishing and some of the hottest big trout to be found in the West.
The Blackfoot River is the setting for Maclean's novella A River
Runs Through It. This water haunts us with scenery of remote beauty
and ample casting opportunities to rainbows, brown trout and Montana's
native cutthroat.
Our goal is guiding our clients down the serpentine canyons of the
Smith River, playing and releasing heart-stopping rainbow trout on
the Missouri River and enjoying the beauty and excellent fly fishing
on the hallowed waters of the Blackfoot River. Lewis and Clark Expeditions
considers it a honor and privilege to introduce anglers to these
magnificent Montana Rivers. We look forward to hearing from you.
Lewis and Clark Expeditions is permitted by the U.S. Forest Service (an equal opportunity provider) for our Smith River trips. It is a result of our partnership with the Lewis and Clark National Forest, US Forest Service.
